A Wedding and Reception at Plein Air
Oxford’s best wedding and event venue for beauty and creativity. Both The Chapel and The Mill are built from almost 100% salvaged material reclaimed from century old warehouses, mills, churches, and estate homes. The chapel seats 280 guests, and The Mill can easily accommodate up to 450. With a dedicated 2-bedroom bridal loft that comes with each booking, and the additional one-bedroom cottages available, a Plein Air wedding is unlike any other experience in the Oxford market.

“The Mill at Plein Air is a gorgeous, romantic venue. The chapel lends itself to everything from the simple-elegance style to over-the-top extravagance. The acoustics are incredible if you want singing or a violin duet like we had at our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. The grounds are gorgeous and perfect for various outdoor wedding photos. The reception venue is lovely on its own and includes a wonderful 2-bedroom suite, nice for staying on site and a great space for the bridal party to get hair and makeup done.”

Bridal Loft
The Plein Air Bridal Loft consists of two bedrooms and one bath. The loft features a beautifully sunlit living room that opens up onto the event venues balcony, restored hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. Perfect for hair and makeup accompanied by brunch on Saturday morning.

Honeymoon Cottage
Our Honeymoon Cottage at Plein Air is one of three monkey cottages designed by architect John Tee. One bedroom, one bath, each with a kitchen and living room, they were designed for socializing and uninterrupted time with family, friends, and loved ones.

Additional Housing
In addition to our Bridal Loft and Honeymoon Cottage, Plein Air offers two additional cottages available for rent. Whether you want all your friends and family close by, have a bigger bridal party and need more room, or are just interested in hanging out in Plein Air for the weekend, contact us for availability.
